Description: Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is looking for a Systems Architecture position within the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Integrated Fighter Group!

What You Will Be Doing

This Systems Architecture position is with the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Integrated Fighter Group, where the selected candidate will be responsible for the following:

- Designing, developing and overseeing avionics system architectures for F-16, including complex systems and systems design activities.

- Serving as focal point for the development and communication of the system architecture.

- Ensuring conversion of mission requirements into total systems solutions that account for design and technology maturity constraints of the system.

- Developing systems and system element architecture, design, and interface definition.

- Supporting internal and external design reviews.

- Maintaining knowledge of current and developing technologies and design and analysis methodologies.

- Developing models and architectural guidelines for current and future system development.

- Collaborating with architects across platforms to synergize LM Aero systems for re-use

You are a multi-faceted teammate able to communicate and function effectively on an engineering team to create a collaborative and inclusive environment that allows for the establishment of mission goals. You have experience with itemized planning and prioritization of tasks that drives the efficient execution of objectives. Success in this role requires a combination of team work, independence, and flexibility. The preferred candidate must be a self-starter with good communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally, and the ability to efficiently manage time and tasks. The candidate will work cross-functionally with other engineering disciplines, as well as with program leadership and external customers and suppliers. You will need to already posses a Final Secret Clearance for this position.

Basic Qualifications:

•BS from an accredited college (Technology or Aerospace Related)

•20 years related professional work experience

•Familiarity with Architecture best practices and principles

Desired Skills:

•Experience with requirements decomposition

•Experience in isolating failure/anomalous issues and proposing solutions

•Knowledge of aircraft mission systems

•Experience in team leadership

•Ability to communicate designs to teams/members to facilitate execution

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
