Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity in the legal industry, specifically for an attorney/lawyer role, based in Ft Lauderdale, Florida. The chosen candidate will work in a dynamic law firm environment, handling tasks related to Family Law, Civil Litigation, and Real Estate.

Responsibilities:

• Interview and communicate effectively with clients to understand their legal needs and provide appropriate advice

• Draft legal documents related to family law, civil litigation, and real estate

• Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case proceedings

• Complete financial statements accurately for clients

• Use case management software and other legal software, such as LexisNexis, to manage client information and case details effectively

• Conduct legal writing tasks including drafting briefs, memorandums, and other legal documents

• Use your skills in civil litigation, family law, and real estate to provide top-notch legal services

• Manage client documentation with high attention to detail

• Stay updated with changes in laws related to the job function. Requirements

• Must possess a professional degree in law (JD) and barred in Florida .

• Must be licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience practicing law, preferably in an area relevant to the role.

• Proficient in the use of Case Management Software and Legal software.

• Familiarity with LexisNexis and other legal databases is necessary.

• Experience with Management Systems is required.

• Expertise in Civil Litigation, Family Law, Real Estate Law is highly desirable.

• Must have strong skills in documentation and the ability to draft legal documents.

• Legal Research and Legal Writing skills are essential.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented approach to work.

• Must demonstrate a high level of professional ethics and integrity.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Must demonstrate excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
