Honeywell Lead Project Engineer in Geismar, Louisiana

As a Lead Project Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in leading and managing projects in the Energy & Sustainability Solutions (ESS) business unit. You will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and meet the required quality standards. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop project plans, allocate resources, and monitor progress. Your expertise and leadership will be instrumental in driving the success of our projects and delivering innovative solutions to our customers.

You will report directly to our Project Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Geismar, Louisiana location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the success of our projects by:

  • Leading and managing project teams to ensure the successful execution of projects

  • Developing and implementing project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to allocate resources and monitor project progress

  • Identifying and mitigating project risks and issues

  • Ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the required quality standards

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Lead and manage project teams to ensure successful project execution

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management or related roles

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field

• Strong leadership and team management skills

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

WE VALUE

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

• Experience in the energy or sustainability industry

• Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging technologies
