Please review the following job description:

Partner with both the Sales Center and Remarketing areas to ensure quality service is delivered at a support level. Remain knowledgeable of coverages and manage the expectation of the client (both internal and external). Maintain rapport with clients, company underwriters, and develop/grow existing accounts. Work collegially as a supportive member of the production team for the benefit of the clients. Maintain open, effective communication and timely follow-up.

**In-office position for first 12 months, then potential for hybrid schedule

**Starting salary is based on experience

**Shifts: 9:15a – 6:15p or 10:15a – 7:15p

**Must obtain P&C License (McGriff will train and fund, teammates will be given two attempts to pass the state licensing exam)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

  1. Take ownership and accountability to address and resolve client questions and issues, working toward a first call resolution, whenever possible.

  2. Identify any coverage gaps and offer client solutions. Maintain proper documentation on coverages and exceptions.

  3. Document customer contact completely within client management system.

  4. Ensure all business results (quality, production, and time service) meet standards.

  5. Process new and renewal business changes, including updating and maintaining information using computer automation.

  6. Maintain daily client management functions in system applications, as required.

  7. Invoice premiums and assist with follow-up on accounts receivables issues according to McGriff procedures.

  8. Retain knowledge of both carrier and industry updates.

  9. Take first notice of loss for claims, when applicable, i.e. catastrophic events.

  10. Support overall agency revenue and retention goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

  1. High School diploma or equivalent work experience

  2. State issued licenses or reasonable time allowed to attain

  3. Strong organizational skills

  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal)

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Advanced degree

  2. Certification in field of endeavor
