Role Overview:

• You will be designing,buildingand maintaining highly scalable microservice-based platform usingtechnologies such as Ruby on Rails/JavaScript/React.

• You will design, build and maintain the backend for new features in an existing Ruby on Rails/Javascript/React application.

• You will be tasked with completing key deliverables for intermediate milestones and deployments as described in the project timeline.

• Collaborate with other teams and departments as needed to iterate on the design and implementation of the application.

What will make you successful :

• Extensive experience in Ruby on Rails backend systems.

• Expert knowledge of Ruby on Rails including design and implementation of RESTful APIs

• Deep knowledge of OOP and software design patterns

• Hands-on experience in designing application architecture and database structure

• Expert knowledge in writing unit tests and provide high-quality test coverage.

• Hands-on experience with SQL and relational database systems (e.g. MSSQL Server, PostgreSQL or MySQL)

• Experience building highly scalable, maintainable, robust, and fault-tolerant services that support our unique rate-of-growth requirements.

• Experience with Agile practices

• Experience in RSpec, FactoryGirl, Capybara.

Good to have:

• Knowledge of frontend stack (Javascript / React / GraphQL / Flux /Redux /HTML / CSS). D3.js / Canvas / ES6 is a huge plus .

• Experience with Kafka is a huge plus.

• Experience in development and maintenance of deployment pipeline is a plus.

• Experience in AWS, Redis, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes is a huge plus.

• Experience GraphQL
