JOB SUMMARY

As the IT Infrastructure and Cloud Services Manager, you will assume a pivotal role in overseeing the coordination and implementation of comprehensive IT projects and services within a dynamic behavioral health care environment. This role will manage the relationship between The Village and its Managed Service Provider (MSP). Reporting directly to the Chief Administrative Officer and working with the leadership team, you will provide strategic guidance and oversee internal IT staff members and external vendors, ensuring the delivery of top-tier IT infrastructure, applications, and services aligned with the organizations strategic goals and industry standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Serves as the leader of the internal IT Steering Committee, collaborating with C-level executives, leadership team and business stakeholders to define project budgets, timelines, and success metrics, and drive their timely and cost-effective implementation.
  2. Leads and supervises IT staff members and MSP vendor resources by overseeing the implementation, delivery, and maintenance of network infrastructure, software systems, and the IT service desk.
  3. Provides 24/7 level 3 support for network and telecom systems, collaborating with MSP Infrastructure Operations to manage and resolve incidents, problems, and service requests.
  4. Coordinates and prioritizes resources managed by the MSP on outsourced projects.
  5. Upgrades, administers, and troubleshoots existing network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access points, and VPN appliances.
  6. Maintains and evolves The Village Cybersecurity program, including ongoing training and provide recommendations to the IT Steering Committee.
  7. Participates in disaster recovery and business continuity planning and testing.
  8. Develops and manages policies and procedures for infrastructure upgrades, hardware/software lifecycle management, IT service management, end-user systems and technology training.
  9. Spearheads The Village risk management efforts, identifying and mitigating potential risks across our operations and enabling strategic decision-making to safeguard organizational data.
  10. Provides direct supervision to IT staff, including time and reporting management, performance evaluations, and opportunities for career development.
  11. Undertake on-call duties and after-hours work as necessary.
Experience and Skills

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of experience, or 10+ years of experience in related IT areas required.

EXPERIENCE

  • The successful candidate will have 3+ years of staff supervision, preferably in healthcare or a non-profit setting.
  • Demonstrated ability for rapid on-the-job l arning and seamless adaptation in a constantly changing environment.
  • Knowledge of IT contracting, budgeting, and managing outsourced resources.
  • Expertise in implementing and maintaining security principles and best practices within a Windows-centric environment, including access controls, security audits, endpoint security solutions, and ensuring compliance with industry standards such as HIPAA and FERPA.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Microsoft technology stack from fine-tuning Active Directory/Entra to integrating and optimizing services like Autopilot, BitLocker, Intune and beyond.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms.
  • Ability to lead equitably and influence others, fostering a culture of professionalism and integrity.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the latest IT developments and adherence to The Villages Code of Conduct principles is expected.
