Our Opportunity:

Responsible for analyzing the Bank's defaulted loan portfolio, and preparing status reports monthly. Performs first line of defense testing of our third party loan servicer to ensure integrity and adherence to credit policy. This position serves as a central point of contact for third party servicers and vendors. Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

What you’ll do:

  • Monthly Loan Portfolio and FLOD Oversight Reports

  • Collect, analyze, and report data on loans in default, bankruptcy, and foreclosure

  • Prepare testing worksheets and complete first line testing of primary loan servicer

  • Collect, analyze, monitor, and prepare reports of other vendors and servicers

  • Data validation and discrepancy research & resolution

  • Support other line of business such as Audit, Compliance, and Risk as needed

  • Attend monthly meeting with legal counsel and update status of accounts in foreclosure, bankruptcy, and litigation

What you have:

  • Proficient in Excel, with 3-5 years’ experience creating Excel reports

  • Knowledge of mortgage products and terms

  • Preferred experience in default management, loss mitigation, foreclosure, or liquidation

  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities

  • Ability to communicate effectively across different Schwab organizations and build partnerships

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
