System One Network/IT Support Administrator in Hermitage, Pennsylvania

System One is assisting an Industrial Manufacturing company located in Hermitage, PA

This position is onsite and will primarily be located in Hermitage, PA. They will also support the Sharon, PA and Irvine, PA locations.

Payrate: $30 - $36/hr. Based on Experience. OT is possible.

The Network/IT Support Admin will utilize technical knowledge and experience to respond to requests for assistance from users experiencing problems with hardware, software, networking and other related technologies to ensure successful user outcome and improve overall IT infrastructure.

What you will DO:

  • Provide first level support to users in all facets of IT and help develop and enforce company policies and procedures.

  • Answer, evaluate, and prioritize requests for assistance from users experiencing problems with hardware, operations software, networking and other computer-related technologies.

  • Interview users to collect information about problem and leads user through diagnostic procedures to determine source of error. Log and track issues using company IT problem management database/ticket system.

  • Handle problem recognition, research, isolation, resolution, and follow-up for routine user problems, referring more complex problems to higher-level technical staff.

  • Ensure network connectivity throughout the company’s LAN/WAN infrastructure is on par with technical considerations.

  • Administer servers, routers, switches, firewalls, cameras, phone system, security updates and patches.

  • Work with managers and team members to help solve business issues or challenges, including but not limited to: managing RFID access, developing tools and reports to monitor machine tool connectivity/up-time, managing local video systems, and other issues relating to computer systems.

  • Regular participation in operational staff meetings,

  • Abide by all company policies and procedures, including safety regulations and work rules.

  • Meets attendance requirements.

What you NEED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent work experience.

  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in basic network administration tasks in a multi-site environment.

  • Demonstrated work experience with firewall management, file server backup technologies, VMWare architecture & technologies, and Microsoft Windows Server and Office 365.

  • Demonstrated work experience configuring PCs, networks, and related troubleshooting.

  • Manufacturing industry experience preferred.

  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work outside of normal work hours to meet business needs and tight deadlines, including ability to travel (approx. 30%) regionally and have reliable transportation; a valid driver’s license is required.
