DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform data analysis and modeling for development and maintenance projects; participate in the development of standards and procedures affecting Dynamics reporting.

  • Provides development, support, maintenance, governance and technical architecture for the enterprise reporting tools which are currently Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft SSRS.

  • Participate in the full life-cycle development process.

  • Participates in walkthroughs of BI solutions including design, coding, testing and documentation reviews ensuring standards and quality are met; able to work independently or in a team setting; assist in the development of task lists, project plans, workload estimates and manages to these plans.

As a Technical Resource, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our analytics and reporting efforts within Dynamics 365, including but not limited to:

  • Dynamics Specific Development, Maintenance, and Support: Developing, maintaining, and providing support for custom analytics and reporting solutions within the Dynamics 365 F&O environment.

  • Supporting Overall Analytics and Reporting: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify reporting requirements, design dashboards, and generate insights that drive business decisions.

  • SQL Experience for ETL: Designing and executing Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes using SQL to facilitate data integration and reporting.

  • Azure Resource Procurement: Procuring resources in Azure Portal to support data storage, processing, and analytics.

  • Azure Synapse Serverless Leveraging Azure Synapse Serverless for scalable and cost-effective data analytics.

  • Data Lake, Lake House and Delta Lake Experience ( Familiarity with Data Lake and Delta Lake technologies for storing and processing large volumes of data.)

  • Experience with Data Verse ( Utilizing Data Verse to manage and integrate data within the Dynamics 365 ecosystem.)

  • Power BI and Paginated Report Builder ( Creating interactive Power BI reports and using Paginated Report Builder to design and deliver paginated reports.)

  • Supporting Consolidated Analytics: Aggregating and consolidating data from diverse sources to provide a unified and coherent view for comprehensive analysis.

  • Data Migration: Assisting in data migration projects, ensuring seamless data transfer between systems, and maintaining data integrity.

Additional responsibilities:

  • Performing and overseeing programming, quality assurance reviews, documentation, system deployment, training, and project setup/support

  • Researching and recommending software technology direction

  • Analysis and debugging of program errors for Production Incident tickets

  • Prepares development hours and cost estimates

  • Provides input to development project plans

  • Familiarity with and adherence to IT Development standards

  • Provide administrative/user support for the reporting environments

  • Develop and maintain reports on as-needed basis

  • Provide after-hours support as needed

  • Participate in and lead quality assurance reviews

  • Support technology evaluations and proof-of-concepts of reporting solutions

  • Support the installation and patching of reporting environments

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Computer Information Systems or related field or extensive applicable experience (Master's degree preferred)

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Operations and Project Operations

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience working with Microsoft Power BI

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience working with enterprise data warehouse / BI projects

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience working with Data Analysis Expressions (DAX)

  • Extensive experience with SQL

  • Experience with Data Verse

  • Data Lake Experience

  • Following Tools Experience : Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Synapse, Paginated Report Builder, and Power Platform.
