Accenture's Tax Transformation practice focuses on providing world class capabilities in delivering process and technology solutions to companies with global tax responsibilities.Job Description: Accenture Tax Strategy & Consulting practice is currently looking for Senior Managers to join our dynamic and growing practice. We are looking for business & technology oriented professional tax Technology experts who will work on tax department issues related to finance transformation, chart of account sensitization, tax calculation automation, and various other business issues that impact tax. You will provide an integrated approach to process improvement that will help the tax department maximize its strategic value internally and externally.

Tax Strategy and Consulting Practice focuses primarily on:

  • Tax Function Assessment and Process Optimization

  • Tax Operating Model Transformation

  • Automation of Tax Systems with emerging Tax Technology Solutions for Indirect Tax determination, calculation, Reporting & Compliance

  • End to End Tax Transformation

Key responsibilities include:

  • Deep Indirect Tax experience in VAT, GST, SUT and expertise in Digital Tax Compliance Reporting (SAF-T, SII, e-Ledger, e-Books, e-invoicing)

  • Expertise on implementation of Tax tools / software applications Indirect Tax (e.g.: Vertex / OneSource IDT (Sabrix) / Taxware / Avalara / Sovos) and Vertex Accelerators / Global Next)

  • Functional experience in Digital Reporting, Compliance, e-Invoicing solutions

  • Tax Technology Architect in Finance/Tax transformation projects across all the phases i.e. Plan, Design, Build, Test and Deploy, preferably involving implementation and integration of Tax technologies with ERPs (SAP / Oracle / Workday) and other frond end systems (Coupa / Ariba / Hybris)

  • Identify opportunities using/building own network within and outside firm to drive business development activities

  • Work Independently on business development and project delivery from onshore/offshore as needed

  • Prepare response to RFP and drive client conversation/presentations to dive business opportunities

  • Prepare business case, Solution options, project plans, estimates, staffing requirements and execution approach for the Tax opportunities and use them as part of proposal to the client appropriately

  • Lead project delivery, client conversation and manage stakeholders on the project both internal and external

  • Lead the team of experienced management consultants and direct/guide teams on project executions as per planned timelines

  • Lead the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality within constraints of time and budget

  • Effectively co-ordinate with client organizations and work towards maintaining & enhancing effective client relationships

  • Experience on emerging tax technologies, including robotic process automation (RPA), Data Driven Analysis, Artificial intelligence (AI) and understand of cloud solutions

    Basic Qualifications:

    · 15+ years of work experience preferably 10+ years in management consulting and similar business

    · Must have at least 5 full lifecycles implementation experience in implementing ERP/Tax technology

    o ERP - SAP / Oracle / Workday

    o Tax Technologies - Vertex O Series / OneSource / Taxware / Avalara / Sovos

    o Tax Tools - Vertex Accelerator & Plus tools / Global Next

    · Must have experience in handling team of 10-15 resources independently

    · Minimum 5 years of experience in project or program management

    Preferred Skills:

    · Knowledge of US Federal, State and Local, FAS109, Sales & Use Tax, VAT, Transfer Pricing, IFRS

    · Advance degree, Masters or MBA

    · Systems proficiency, particularly with MS Excel and other Microsoft Office applications (Word, Access, PowerPoint)

    · Ability to quickly learn new software tools

    · Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment

    · Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

    · Ability to interact effectively with client executives, vendors, and third-party providers

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York or Washington as set forth below. California $93,400 to $258,500

Colorado $93,400 to $223,300

New York $86,500 to $258,500

Washington $99,500 to $237,800
