Role

As a Senior member of Technical Staff, you will be responsible for building and owning market leading Enterprise class Cloud Native SaaS products based on microservices platform. You will re-imagine architectural roadmap and own critical pieces of technical backlog as-well-as evangelize technical decisions. You will be responsible for designing and implementing new microservices, optimizing existing services for performance and scale, and owning product security posture and deployment architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Developing framework and infrastructure code using current web technologies (HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery)

  • Participating in code reviews

  • Engaging actively in the technical decision-making process

  • Participating in technical discussions and providing feedback depending on the needs of the team/department

  • Keeping abreast of the latest technologies (including Oracle technologies) and assimilating them into the product suites

  • Pro-actively mentor and keeping track of teammates progress

  • Ensuring compliance with development methodology and technical process

Technical Skills

  • Strong web development experience (HTML5, CSS3, Object Oriented JavaScript, JS Frameworks (AngularJS))

  • J2EE development experience is a plus

  • Thorough understanding of OO principles

  • Track record of rapidly learning and incorporating new technologies into his/her skill set

  • Thorough knowledge of programming best practices

  • Expert analytical and troubleshooting skills.

  • Ability to effectively communicate technical, business, and design information.

  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality, tested software on time.

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Good oral and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to work with global teams

  • Ready to upskill and work in fast changing and dynamic environment

He/She should be able to work independently, mentor others and be a highly contributing member of an agile team. She/he has excellent organizational, planning and time management skills, with a successful track record of managing multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.

Background

  • 8+ years of solid experience in enterprise product development

  • Degree in a 4 year full time BE or B.Tech course from a reputed Institute (having a degree from top tier Engineering Institutes will hold a distinct advantage)
