General Summary:

Overview

The Secure Systems Group (SSG) Developer Infrastructure (DevInfra) team is responsible for developing organization-wide frameworks and processes that improve overall execution efficiency and throughput while reducing legacy cost.

Responsibilities

• Develop and contribute to broad solutions that support the Secure Systems Group Development Team and Organization.

• Collaborate cross-functional teams on varying technologies to unify around common SSG infrastructure and frameworks.

• Identify, negotiate and prioritize the need for technical solutions and processes used in streamlining SSG development execution.

• Independently drive and/or contribute to projects of varying levels of difficulty under the guidance and direction of technical leadership.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field

• Nimbleness, flexibility and adaptability to varying development challenges

• Good communication and people skills

• 7+ years of professional C programming experience

• 3+ years of professional Python programming experience

• Strong demonstrable debug, triage and code review skills

• Experience operating and developing in Linux and/or Android environments

• Fluent in compiler and debugger development tools such as Clang, GCC, GDB, and ADB

• Experience using and developing with build systems such as CMake, Make and Ninja

• Experience using and contributing in source control systems such as Git and Perforce

• Familiarity with the ARM architecture

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

OR

Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.

OR

PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

• 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

Ideal Qualifications

• QEMU or other SW emulator development experience

• Google Test or other test framework development experience

• UEFI or EDK2 framework development experience

• Familiarity with developing on hardware development platforms such as Hikey, Raspberry-Pi, or Arduino

• Familiarity with the RISC-V architecture

• Familiarity with modern documentation tooling such as Asciidoc

• Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as Docker
