The Sr. Compensation Specialist position will provide compensation support to aligned business units and manage strategic compensation projects, processes and ad hoc requests. As a Sr. Compensation Specialist, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow within the organization, contributing to the development and success of the overall compensation strategy at CBIZ. Your responsibilities will include analyzing and evaluating salary data, conducting market research, and assisting in the development and implementation of compensation strategies. Essential Functions and Primary Duties: * Partner with the Compensation Analyst, HR professionals, managers, and executives to ensure that the organization's compensation practices align with business objectives and industry standards. * Evaluates market data/trends and conducts analyses to determine competitiveness of compensation programs and makes recommendations accordingly. * Assists with the preparation and communication of policy documentation and recommends clarification to policy issues. * Support the administration of the organization's compensation programs, including salary structures, bonus plans, and other incentive programs. * Assists with processing increases for compensation events, such as annual merit and bonus cycles. * Participates in compensation surveys and benchmarking studies to gather information on compensation practices within the industry. * Assist in the development and maintenance of salary ranges and compensation policies. * Assist in the evaluation of new/current job roles to determine appropriate salary levels based on job responsibilities, qualifications, and market conditions. o Work with HR and hiring managers to understand the requirements of different positions and ensure fair and consistent job classifications. * Stay informed about relevant labor laws and regulations to ensure the organization's compensation practices comply with legal requirements. * Maintain confidentiality around all different types of personal employee information. * Provide ad hoc analytical compensation support and market pricing analysis as needed, may lead market pricing data collection and analysis efforts. * Assist with areas outside of compensation in support of the Total Rewards team - o Assist with wellness initiatives as needed. o Assist with the processing health and welfare invoices. * Additional responsibilities as assigned Preferred Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field. * Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel or other data analysis tools. * Good understanding of compensation principles, market trends, an
