Title: UI Software Developer Location: Remote; United States Experience: Associate-Mid Level Job Function: Marketplace Engineering Employment Type: Full Time Industry: Computer Network & Security About the position We are looking for a dynamic Junior to Mid-Level Software Developer to join our fully remote team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a professional software development role, demonstrating a keen ability to collaborate effectively with other developers and engineers. You will play a crucial role in our team, writing, testing, and debugging code to support our projects' growth and success. The position is based in the United States and can be performed remotely when necessary. Applicants must hold US citizen or US permanent resident status. Responsibilities Collaborate with other developers and engineers in a fully remote environment. Write, test, and debug code in a timely and efficient manner. Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge. Contribute to the design and implementation of new features and functionalities. Ensure scalability and performance of applications through effective coding practices. Skills and Qualifications Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment. Organized and detail-oriented with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Experience with a modern JavaScript framework such as React, Angular, or Vue. Proficient in using and configuring relational databases/SQL for data retrieval and updates. Familiarity with Node.js and AWS cloud services. Basic knowledge of Linux command line operations. Fluency in English with solid oral and written communication skills. A degree, personal project, or work experience demonstrating skills and commitment to software development. Bonus skills: Proficiency in Typescript, React, and Material UI. Experience with Sequelize ORM. Familiarity with Jira, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes for project management and deployment.
