HomeSafe Alliance is the single global household goods movement manager for USTRANSCOM and the U.S. Armed Forces, Department of Defense civilians, U.S. Coast Guard, and their families.

HomeSafe Alliance is seeking highly skilled and motivated Clearings Manager to lead the domestic logistics team in all delivery operational tasks, implement a cost-effective storage strategy, ensure operational excellence, high productivity, and customer satisfaction. This role will oversee all destination Service Provider activities, monitor call hold times, perform quality assurance reviews and work with interdepartmental staff to confirm that all clearing operations consistently meet company standards.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

  • Lead, manage and mentor a team of Clearing professionals.

  • Implement a continuous improvement process culture to improve efficiencies and performance: Ensure personnel are trained on standardized workflows, are technically competent and customer focused.

  • Reviews clearing requests manually or through use of automated system to achieve system goals (productivity, on-time performance, efficiency, etc.)

  • Provide outstanding customer service to our clients by implementing and managing the clearing process on an organizational level as well as continuously optimizing the operations experience and developing team members.

  • Oversee all portions of clearing process including direct delivery & storage in transit (SIT)

  • Pilot all outbound flows from warehouse to customers and make sure the communication to the customer is done proactively.

  • Achieve GHC HomeSafe KPIs and SDS performance metric requirements.

  • Define and maintain KPIs to pilot his/her activity and measure efficiency of the operations.

  • Daily/hourly monitor all system efficiencies and adjust when needed.

  • Update all the flows regarding the customer in SAP, from arrival to delivery.

  • Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Transportation, Logistics preferred.

  • 3+ years transportation, logistics, fleet, or distribution experience, within military move highly preferred.

  • 3 years management experience.

  • Must be a U.S. citizen due to contractual requirements

  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills, patience, and empathy.

  • Experience in team management, customer service, and transportation logistics

  • Prior military move management experience highly preferred.
