Description

We are offering a part time bookkeeping role in the logistics industry, based in INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana, for an individual proficient in Quickbooks. This role focuses on the accurate and efficient processing of accounts payable, accounts receivables, account monitoring, and resolution of credit inquiries. The position is on a contract basis.

Responsibilities:

• Accurate and timely processing of customer credit applications.

• Consistent maintenance and updating of customer credit records.

• Swift resolution of customer credit inquiries.

• Continuous monitoring of customer credit accounts.

• Taking appropriate action to collect delinquent payments.

• Data entry into Excel for billing, order, and closeout information.

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for various data entry tasks.

• Ensuring day-to-day operations are extended as needed.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Quickbooks

• Demonstrated experience in Data Entry

• Knowledge of logistics industry

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High school diploma or equivalent education level

• Basic understanding of databases and data analysis procedures

• Familiarity with office equipment such as photocopiers, scanners, etc.
