Position:Business Analyst & Executive Assistant - Technology Operations

Job Description:

SUMMARY

Performs administrative duties, including various types of research and analysis to support business operations for ICE Mortgage Technology's Data & Analytics division . Assists management to resolve business issues in an effective and productive manner. Provides critical assistance for day-to-day management of operational reporting, personnel management, financial management and reporting, as well as travel management and event coordination. Work requires some analysis and use of initiative and independent judgment. Reports directly to the division's Chief Technology Officer.

LOCATION

Hybrid work from our Jacksonville, FL HQ is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs analyses of the business goals, objectives, and needs of the general business environment

  • Performs research and analysis to support business operations and presents findings to management

  • Plans and designs business processes and make recommendations and changes in order to improve and deliver greater effectiveness and efficiency

  • Identifies and implements best practices and suggest how to improve current practices

  • Calculates/estimates costs and benefits of alternative actions or solutions to establish their viability/ROI

  • Analyzes and documents business processes and metrics

  • Makes high-level contacts of a sensitive nature inside and outside the company

  • Works on a diverse scope of division where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors

  • Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions

  • Writes and edits various documents (contracts, renewals, proposals, etc.) from dictation equipment, drafts, or shorthand notes. Distributes typed materials, revises as directed, and may be called upon to interpret and communicate executive intent to internal parties

  • May perform special projects upon request and on occasion

  • May prepare reports for financial and P&L analyses

  • Performs other related duties as assigned

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combinations of education, training, and work experience (i.e. an Associate’s degree and six (6) or more years of relevant work experience or a High School diploma and eight (8) or more years of relevant work experience)

  • Requires four (4) or more years of relevant experience

  • Demonstrated experience working with and maintaining relationships with senior level executives, clients, vendors, etc.

  • Experience with Office Product Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

  • Advanced Excel skills

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of general business, corporate operations, and structure

  • Advanced PowerPoint skills

  • Extensive knowledge of methods and techniques to perform general clerical accounting and various personal computer software packages required by the position (e.g., word processing, graphics, spreadsheets, etc.)

  • Verbal and written communication skills to audiences of various levels within the organization

  • Decision-making and problem-solving skills

  • Resourceful and proactive in gathering information, sharing ideas, and suggesting innovative solutions
