Your Role and Responsibilities

As a DevOps Engineer in the Data and Analytics organization, you bring technical expertise and a passion for successfully adopting DevOps tools and practices in a Hybrid Cloud environment. You are a problem solver at heart with a passion and drive to innovate and disrupt the current status quo on how to accomplish a task, resulting in automating and optimizing the DevOps workflow.

Key responsibilities of this role, but are not limited to:

• Serving as a technical team member in the development team, customer engagements, and contributing your knowledge and expertise towards the project's success.

• Implementing workflows using technologies such as Ansible, Helm, Jenkins, Travis CI , and other open-source solutions.

• Diagnosing environmental issues and introduce/implement technologies to solve them.

• Staying up-to-date on the latest container platform releases and containerization techniques.

• Provision and maintenance of DevOps Infra

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 7 + years' experience in IT with 3 + years of exp in Devops

• Good experienced with Python and Shell scripting

• Good in building CI/CD pipelines and build automation using Maven/Gradle

• Knowledgeable in applying security practices/techniques in containerization solutions

• Experienced with Openshift, Kubenetes, Github, Jenkins, Ansible, Helm Charts, Python, Shell scripts, Travis CI

• Experience with distributed application concepts and DevOps tools

• Excellent writing and communication skills

• Demonstrable troubleshooting and debugging ability

• General knowledge of web services, HTTP and RESTful services

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Agile Application Development & Scrum methodologies

• Familiarity with LogDNA/Sysdig/Prometheus for cluster analysis in a Kubernetes environment

• Working knowledge of Ansible based install/deployment automation.

• Experience with Public Cloud Services (AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud)
