Sierra Nevada Corporation Associate Proposal Manager in Lone Tree, Colorado

We may have the perfect opportunity for you! As an Associate Proposal Manager, you'll assist with the bid submission process from initial contact through contract signing for our cutting-edge products and services, including winning. You'll coordinate proposal activities in accordance with the request for proposal (RFP) specifications. Your duties will also include a review of proposals to ensure the appropriate themes are incorporated.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Responsible for collecting, analyzing, distributing competitive, market, and customer intelligence to decision makers

  • Develop Competitive Assessments to support pursue and bid decisions that includes competitor bidding history, contract wins, company overviews, key players, etc

  • Database Management: compile and continuously update competitor, customer and program databases with recent news, updates and intel

  • Newsletter Distribution: daily intel gathering, newsletter creation and distro along with analyzing impacts to overall SNC business

  • Quarterly Earnings Updates: provide a summary of key competitor’s quarterly earnings reports

  • Market Assessments: ability to research and highlight the total addressable market for SNC pursuits

  • Identify opportunities, competitors, funding, etc. in those markets both internationally and domestically

  • Contract searches for past programs and customers of interest

  • Contract searches for past programs and customers of interest

  • Ability to pull program specific information out of service’s budget requests

  • Develop Company Assessments and Overviews that include company information relevant to SNC business

  • Coordinate collection of intelligence from public events such as tradeshows, conferences, and industry days and distribute intel to key stakeholders following events

  • Maintain CI folders, SharePoint site and Teams groups to maintain competitive intel

  • Ability to quickly follow up on urgent research requests

Must-haves:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field (Business, English, Journalism, Liberal Arts)

  • Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education

  • 2-4 year’s experience

  • Ability to plan, multi-task, prioritize and execute assigned workload to meet multiple deadlines for multiple programs simultaneously

  • Technical, proposal writing and proposal management experience with emphasis in technical products and logistics services

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to motivate/work with others; must comfortable speaking to C-Suite executives

  • Ability to work within time constraints, have a flexible schedule, be ready to meet changing deadlines and priorities to capture proposal needs

  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite Skills (particularly PowerPoint)

  • Prior experience, working knowledge, and training in Shipley Associates, or similar, Capture and Proposal processes

  • Ability to work with intelligence aggregation software, synthesizing information, and compiling it into a presentable format

  • Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $79,264.96 - $108,989.32. SNC considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates’ key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.

SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
