Our Opportunity:

The mobile technology team is responsible for designing, building, supporting and involving client-facing native mobile apps for Charles Schwab. The mobile team has traditionally been a key partner working with product teams to deliver excellent client experience to the millions of Schwab users. As a member of the mobile team you will work in one or more product channels to build mobile apps that meet and exceed client’s needs, work closely with product teams to pair your mobile technology knowledge with product knowledge to create creative and innovative solution that thrill customers and disrupt competitors. Intelligent Portfolios Opportunity

Intelligent Portfolios Technology is part of the Schwab Technology Services organization and is responsible for delivering Robo-Advisor solutions used by Schwab Clients and Advisors. As a Lead Software Application Engineer for Intelligent Portfolios Technology you will provide technical leadership within the engineering team and for our business partners. This position will be responsible for delivering high quality solutions that meet business objectives in a flexible, collaborative and rapidly changing delivery environment. It requires highly motivated and focused

What you’ll do:

  • Be part of a team that’s passionate about building apps that are secure and delightful to use

  • Construct, enhance and troubleshoot native mobile apps

  • Implement complex new features and functionality, as well as entire applications end-to-end

  • Work closely with developers and designers to create beautiful, functional solutions

What you have:

  • Experience with algorithm design

  • Basic understanding of object-oriented analysis and design

  • Experience with data structures

  • Java or C# development

  • Familiarity with RESTful web services and Cloud APIs is a plus

  • Database modeling is a plus

  • UX, Web development or mobile development is a plus

  • Experience and/or interest in Mobile development (Android or iOS) a plus

  • Inventiveness and eagerness to work with experimental technology is a must!

  • Must be able to start by June 7th 2018
