Our Opportunity:

Corporate Vendor Management (CVM) at Charles Schwab & Co. is responsible for implementing a firm-wide, end-to-end vendor management program to maximize vendor performance and value. CVM identifies, mitigates, monitors, and manages vendor risk; and assists Schwab in meeting regulatory and compliance requirements.

What you’ll do:

The Sr. Manager, Board & Sr. Leadership Reporting, within the Professional Practices Group, will be responsible for all CVM documentation and reporting, including preparation of the quarterly decks for the Third-Party Risk Management Subcommittee (TPRMS). The role will have a comprehensive understanding of all functions within CVM, will understand the risks and related metrics; will analyze data and translate into presentations and will advise on process and reporting implications of any changes. Typical responsibilities include preparing quarterly decks for the TPRMS, monthly 23b reporting for Charles Schwab Bank, creating and scheduling required reporting, maintaining related procedural documentation, and assisting with ad hoc requests.

This is an individual contributor role.

What you have:

  • 5+ years of experience in reporting, data management, or related experience is desired

  • Ability to translate business processes and functional requirements into clear, concise and comprehensive procedural documentation and reporting

  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical, project management and organizational skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively, in a team environment

  • Experience in building impactful presentations for executive management and business audiences.

  • Experience acting as the business data owner working with technology groups and vendors to ensure consistent use of the data across systems and the organization.

  • Experience in Tableau is a plus

  • Self-starter, able to manage multiple projects and succeed in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with minimal direction

  • High level of interpersonal skills, with a proven capability to make contributions to teams and initiative

  • Experience working in the financial industry or other regulated environment strongly desirable

  • Bachelor’s degree required
