Our Opportunity:

The Business Systems Analyst will play a key role in organizing and driving work within the Insight team and across the larger Compliance and Legal Service Technology portfolio. Core responsibilities include partnering with business stakeholders, product owners, and technology leads on requirements analysis, participating and facilitating key Agile Scrum meetings, partnering with critical business and IT stakeholders to ensure milestones are on track, and critical deliverables are met. This role will also be responsibility for providing portfolio wide Program Management, in addition to application queue oversight, to help track, drive, and update audit findings or critical initiatives to conclusion.

You will be a liaison between business partners and technology teams, partnering closely with the technology leads across multiple applications to understand project and application strategy as well as drive delivery of solutions

What you’ll do:

Leverage your experience with process, data analysis, systems analysis, process architectures, and systems analysis methodologies which include Agile and Agile Scrum to execute on the following:

  • Apply advanced business analysis concepts to identify, evaluate and define highly complex systems scope and objectives based on advanced knowledge of applicable business practices, processes, systems, and industry standards to meet end-user needs. Considers the business implications of applying technology to the current and future business environments

  • Understand and utilize Agile Scrum best practices to ensure consistent delivery and reporting of project deliverables

  • Function as a Scrum Master and Agile coach to help drive agile maturity within the technology team and business

  • Coordinate team deliverables across multiple application queues by managing backlog of work, understanding requirements, determining urgency, and setting expectations on conflicting priorities

  • Utilize a detail oriented, data driven approach to oversee progress and relay information on critical trends up to the leadership team for input on strategy

  • Partner with technology leads and product owners to communicate gaps, opportunities, and progress against deliverables

  • Works with the technology Director to Provide Program Management portfolio and initiative reporting, while ensuring critical milestones are on track

  • Independently lead cross-functional teams to address business process or systems issues and communicate key issues back up to the leadership team

  • Works with functional support resources and makes solution recommendations to ensure that user requirements are met in a timely and efficient manner

  • Coordinates software evaluation activities, security administration, and configuration changes as required

  • Perform gap analysis between business requirements and vendor product offerings as needed

  • Ensure that complex business requirements are accurately captured, communicated, and understood by all stakeholders and effectively translate them into functional specifications

  • Act as a liaison between the business and technology teams

  • Coordinate with onshore and offshore resources that are geographically distributed

What you have:

  • BA/BS or higher degree, preferably in an analytical or technical discipline

  • 8+ years of related experience, with a focus on data integration, reporting, and analysis

  • 3+ years of experience using Agile/SCRUM

  • Experience working in large scale Agile environment spanning multiple Scrum teams and time zones highly desired

  • Background using Jira and Confluence desirable

  • Experience with Oracle Surveillance products is preferred

  • Adept at translating business requirements into technical specifications

  • Outstanding MS Excel skills, including experience using spreadsheets to perform complex data analysis

  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills

  • Familiarity with the financial services domain or a strong desire to learn about the industry

  • Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, prioritization, organization, and decision-making skills
