The Wealth Strategies Group is a team of specialists that provide analysis and guidance across 13 critical wealth management issues. The team provides primary support to Schwab Private Clients and their advisors but also lends support for the needs of other High-Net Worth clients outside of a managed investing relationship. They provide comprehensive financial planning services, guidance on estate, tax and trust issues, as well as support with managing executive compensation (when applicable).

What you’ll do:

As a Sr. Team Manager of the Wealth Strategies Group, you will coach and counsel a team of specialist to provide an exceptional advisory experience. You will work in coordination with your peers and business partners to drive key business targets which include asset growth and consolidation, client retention, and client satisfaction. Effective collaboration with Branch and SPC partners will be required to advance Schwab’s wealth management penetration and effectiveness.

What you have:

Undergraduate degree required

CFP® designation required

Series 7, 66 and 9/10 required (or to be obtained within 90 days).

Minimum 3+ years’ experience with creating and presenting complex/comprehensive financial plans, including a minimum of 2 years supervisory experience.

Proven ability to lead and coach financial professionals while possessing strong mentoring and employee development skills.

Extensive financial services industry knowledge.

Ability to work effectively with internal and external partners to address clients/prospects financial needs and goals.

Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively communicate complex topics to clients and partners.
