Job Overview

The Procurement Product Compliance Analyst role is a position which focuses on ensuring TE Sensors supply base meets environmental and ethical compliance requirements. This role will work within our TE Sensors Global Procurement Operations team and work directly with suppliers as well as internal team members in various geographic regions and functions in order achieve compliance performance outcome. The position will develop a subject matter expertise in product compliance and make direct phone calls to suppliers in varying geographic regions to work with them to complete the required compliance requirements and drive a step change in results. The position will also work internally to develop robust processes to systemically achieve success. Product Compliance includes REACH, RoHS, LowHal, IRS, Conflict Minerals.

Position can work from TE office or remotely

Job Description

Responsibilities

As Procurement Product Compliance Analyst your responsibilities would include but are not limited to the following:

  • Call Suppliers in varying geographic regions to work with them to complete the required compliance requirements in TE’s Supplier Portal (Assent)

  • Lead Supplier Compliance as subject matter expert and be the key contact in escalation in order to determine correct compliance action to achieve performance

  • Develop proactive training, education and outreach with suppliers and internal team members to achieve environmental and ethical compliance requirements

  • Engage with TE Sensors Global Category Leaders in Supplier Business Reviews to review compliance status and include compliance in Category Strategies

  • Drive Non-Compliant Suppliers in a Quarterly Town Hall Forum in order to drive corrective actions

  • Present compliance metric status and actions in weekly global operations meeting

  • Liaison with New Product Introduction Procurement to ensure new products are compliant and leveraged to achieve compliance of existing business

  • Leverage IHS Markit to Determine Electronics OEM Part Numbers and correlate to TE Parts Numbers to achieve compliance

  • Work Cross Functionally to determine in scope and out of scope supplier materials

  • Support impact analysis of new industry compliance standards such as PFAS

  • Work internally to develop robust processes to systemically achieve success

  • Participate in TE compliance forums and determine flow down requirements to Sensors Business Unit

  • Maintain Supplier Compliance Contacts in TE Systems

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university with 3+ Years experience working within a business environment

  • Excellent verbal communicator who is confident calling and speaking to suppliers on a daily basis

  • Motivated individual who aggressively works to improve metrics and has the ability to learn quickly in a self-directed work environment with minimal supervision

  • Ability to take ownership of actions and lead to closure

  • Desires to work in a global environment and regularly present to a diverse audience, including senior management

  • Fluent in English; reading, writing, and speaking English language

  • Experience in Operations, Procurement, Supply Chain, or other related disciplines is a plus

  • Basic Knowledge of in REACH, RoHS, LowHal, IRS, Conflict Minerals is a Plus

  • Standard Working Hours 2 pm PHST – 11 pm PHST (Includes 1 hour Break)
