As Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for processing payroll in the UK and administering payrolls through 3 rd party vendors in Ireland, DACH, the Nordics, Netherlands, Brazil, UAE and Africa, ensuring accuracy, compliance with regulations, and timely delivery. You will be at the helm of continuous improvement and innovation projects contributing towards our operational excellence goals, based from Manchester.

What To Expect:

  • Collaboration: Play an instrumental role within our HR team, contributing to the evolution and reinforcement of Hologic's culture, ensuring it aligns with our strategic objectives.

  • Diverse HR Functions: Engage in a multifaceted position encompassing payroll processing, alongside specialists in HR operations, business partnership, talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, learning and development.

  • Critical Payroll Management: Take charge of the end-to-end payroll process for the UK, meticulously administering and overseeing payroll vendors.

  • International Scope: Expand your horizons by administering payroll to vendors across multiple countries, including Ireland, DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), the Nordics, the Netherlands, Brazil, UAE, and Africa.

  • Vendor Collaboration: Liaise with third-party vendors to ensure seamless payroll services, upholding our standard of operational excellence.

  • Accuracy and Compliance: Prioritize precision and adherence to legal requirements in payroll processing, safeguarding both the company and our employees.

  • Timely Payroll Delivery: Ensure that all employees receive their compensation accurately and on time, contributing to a positive employee experience.

  • Operational Excellence: Drive continuous improvement and innovation in payroll processes, helping Hologic to maintain and enhance its reputation for operational efficiency.

What We Expect:

  • In-depth knowledge of payroll processes and laws in the UK (e.g., tax laws, social security, P11D ect.) and in other EMEA countries is advantageous.

  • Liaise with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance, providing accurate reports

  • Comprehensive knowledge of internal policies and ensure that all policies are current.

  • Knowledge of HR processes and data including Benefits and Compensation

  • Remain current and up to date with UK payroll legislation and statutory requirements.

  • Understanding of RSU processes

  • Thorough knowledge of sox compliance

  • Familiarity with payroll software systems (eg ADP iHCM), absence management systems (eg eDays), HR systems (eg Oracle iCloud HCM) and ability to generate and interpret various payroll reports

  • Continuous improvement mindset, always seeking ways to streamline and enhance work processes

  • Adaptable to change and open to learning and applying new techniques and software.
