Robert Half has an outstanding opportunity for a permanent Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk to join the team at a recognized company in the Machinery Manufacturing industry. As the Accounts Payable Clerk, you will match, batch, and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. Within this dynamic department, you will have an opportunity for career growth and advancement. The Accounts Payable Clerk role will be situated in the Plymouth, Minnesota area and is a permanent employment.

Your responsibilities

• Implement full-cycle A/P

• Verify, log and send checks, including facilitating special handling

• Carry out daily processes and controls accurately and on time, and ensure compliance with company policies

• Provide customer service to internal business partners

• Complete special projects on an as-needed basis

• Provide internal and external audit assistance as required

• Support the AP/Finance Department by completing administrative tasks

• Handle daily department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it

• Sort, log, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents

  Requirements - Strong organization skills

• Prior experience in an A/P role preferred

• Ability to work within spreadsheets and databases

• Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)

• Command of Payable Invoices

• AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

• Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
