Actalent Quality Control Technician in Maryland Heights, Missouri

Description:

  • Perform laboratory testing and related quality control activities in order to ensure compliance with applicable SOP's and cGMPs.

  • Testing on raw materials and finished products to include: Analytical Balance, pH meter, automatic pipettes, FTIR, UV-Vis, Voltammeter, Autotitrator, HPLC, GC, IC, ICP, Flame AA, TOC, and Conductivity meter.

  • Provide timely testing and notification of any aberrant occurrence to Management/Supervision that presents potential negative impact to manufactured or marketed product.

  • Ensure a safe and quality working environment through training, awareness, and compliance to Safety/Quality guidelines and SOPs.

  • Ensure the maintenance of their department, premises, and equipment.

  • Perform all work in compliance with site safety and radiation protection guidelines.

Skills:

  • Chemistry

  • Wet chemistry

  • HPLC

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’ Degree in science discipline (completed degree)

  • Proficient in the use of several laboratory instruments and/or experience with some of these tools; Analytical Balance, pH meter, automatic pipettes, FTIR, UV-Vis, Voltammeter, Autotitrator, HPLC, GC, IC, ICP, Flame AA, TOC, and Conductivity meter.

Experience Level:

  • Entry Level

Shift: 3rd

Pay: $22-25/hour
