This technician position serves as a Pneudraulic Svstems Mechanic within a fuel systems shop responsible for inspection, repair and maintenance of aircraft fuel cells. Responsibilities As an AIRCRAFT PNEUDRAULIC SYSTEMS MECHANIC, WG-8268-10, you will: Perform leak checks of aircraft fuel systems by visual inspection or by removal of panels Repair, reassemble, and install fuel system components Perform operational and functional checks to insure proper operation Participate in various types of readiness evaluations Requirements Conditions of Employment Areas of Consideration: All permanent, on-board, Title 32 Employees within the New Jersey National Guard All New Jersey National Guard members (M-Day, Traditional, Active Guard Reserve, and Drill-Status Guardsmen) Individuals eligible for membership in the New Jersey National Guard Military Grades: E-3 to E-5 Compatible Military Assignments: 2A654 Selectee has one (1) year to obtain required AFSC Compatible military grade and assignment required prior to the effective date of placement. This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard.
