Assessment & Qualifications Program Manager in Melbourne, Australia

About the role: We are presently seeking a Program Manager accountable for ensuring the successful implementation and delivery of client programs. This role acts as the primary communication conduit between clients and Pearson VUE internal teams, ensuring client satisfaction throughout the process.

Our team: Assessment & Qualifications - Pearson VUE is a global leader in computer-based testing for information technology, academic, government and professional testing programs around the world with a secure network of test centers in more than 180 countries.

As a Program Manager you’ll be responsible for:

  • Define responsibilities of each client and internal team to ensure all aspects of the proposed service are accurately specified and agreed prior to the commencement of the program.

  • Communicating with internal team, existing and new clients to ensure client is satisfied with program implementation and delivery after each program.

  • Contribute to overall costing and ensure each program implementation and delivery is on budget and on time, and in accordance with the contract.

  • Provide project management leadership and manage daily program activities, identify potential challenges, issue resolution and work with cross functional teams to deliver services on-time as-requested by clients.

  • Manage internal (cross) functional teams to implement test delivering services on schedule

  • Successful launch of client program to the required scope, quality, and budget.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field

  • A minimum of three years’ experience in project management, program management and/or account management or a related area.

  • Excellent external management and contract management skills

  • Must be accustomed to working in an international environment and be sensitive to differences in culture and business approach.
