Pay Rate :

$51,000 – 68,000

Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range.

The Job You Will Perform:

Provide executive secretarial and administrative support to the Director of Finance and the Director of Supply Chain within our Global Cellulose Fibers Business at International Paper. This role has responsibility for running office operations smoothly and efficiently, creating and maintaining calendars, scheduling meetings, travel arrangements, expense reports.

  • Effectively manage office activities and coordinate calendars (schedules and appointments), meetings, conference calls and extensive travel arrangements (including international travel).

  • Ensure Directors, Finance / Supply Chain are appropriately prepared, and have materials for various meetings / appointments

  • Create MS PowerPoint presentations containing very detailed information (Finance / Business related), to be viewed at the executive level

  • Screen telephone calls and visitors and resolve routine and some complex inquires

  • Complete expense reports in strict accordance with company policy, using our on-line system.

  • Processing of quality related customer claims including coordination, preparation for approval, and payment

  • Handle miscellaneous projects, as assigned.

  • Manage multiple tasks and work in a dynamic environment.

  • Be a team player, willing to help out at "crunch" times.

  • Regularly process expense reports.

  • Take the lead in coordination of activities with other support personnel and maintain positive relationships with all levels of employees and customers.

  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, be well organized, and have strong time management skills.

The Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge You Will Bring:

  • College degree preferred

  • Minimum 3 – 5 years prior administrative support required

  • Requires follow-up and attention to detail, with constantly changing priorities

  • Excellent technical skills, including Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Power Point, EXCEL, WORD, and Internet

  • Must be an extremely organized, reliable individual

  • Great deal of flexibility, enthusiasm, and energy; must be a team player

  • Excellent interpersonal savvy with ability to interact effectively and courteously with all levels of employees

  • Must have excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Must possess a positive attitude, demonstrate a willingness to ask pertinent questions, and be an active leaner.

  • Ability to handle company confidential issues in a professional manner.
