Aerotek 2nd Shift Maintenance Electrician in Mendon, Michigan
Description:
This individual will be responsible for electrical troubleshooting and repair on industrial manufacturing equipment and machines. Will be required to wire and run power to industrial machinery, rewire motors, troubleshoot 480v, run conduit, check for power, and replace electrical components and controls. Will work with automation technicians, controls engineers, and the maintenance team for machine teardowns, installs, and plant upgrades. Robotics and automation experience is preferred.
Additional Job Duties:
Maintain and install electrical systems throughout the facility
Test and troubleshoot malfunctioning electrical systems and equipment
Installation of controls components such as PLCs, HMIs, and electric motors
Read and understand blueprints and electrical schematics
Shift:
1st: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
2nd: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM (1 opening)
3rd: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM
Currently working Monday-Friday, roughly 40-48 hours a week and anything worked over 8 hours in a given day is paid x1.5.
Pay:
Direct hire opportunity
$32.75 an hour

8+ years of Industrial electrical experience or equivalent in a skilled trade
Industrial electrical troubleshooting and repair experience
Experience working with industrial controls systems
Ability to read and interpret schematics and electrical diagrams
Ability to pass a pre-employment physical
