Required Skills:

Business Operations Associate - Commerce Responsibilities:

  1. Build models to forecast Commerce Revenue and Expenses for planning cycles, including long-range plan (LRP), annual budget, and quarterly forecasts.

  2. Ensure monetization, expense, and headcount trends are well understood via regular reporting and variance analysis.

  3. Define appropriate goals for the business in close cooperation with Product and Business teams.

  4. Develop a deep, quantitative and qualitative understanding of the Commerce ecosystem (buyers, sellers, channel partners) in order to identify and drive critical initiatives to support monetization and business growth.

  5. Collaborate cross-functionally and proactively engage as a liaison between a range of Finance, Product, and Business teams.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Operations Research, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field and 36 months of work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Experience must include 36 months involving the following:

  2. Framing ambiguous issues, problem solving, and synthesizing business insights

  3. Driving processes and influencing decision-making across levels and functions, including Finance, Product, and Business

  4. Building financial models in Excel with a high degree of accuracy and autonomy

  5. Using SQL to synthesize large datasets

  6. Finance, business strategy, or consulting

Public Compensation:

$164,417/year to $173,800/year + bonus + equity + benefits
