Description

My Minneapolis-based client is conducting a search for a permanent Human Resources Manager! In this exciting opportunity, you will handle a variety of tasks, including employee relations, recruiting for open positions, reviewing and adjusting timesheets, maintain the employee handbook, assisting in training & development, and coordinate company-wide events.

This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related, paired with 3+ years of HR experience. Bilingual or conversational in Spanish is also a requirement for this position.

This position is on onsite role, as the Human Resources Department is a department of one. General flexibility is offered, once trained. This position is 32-40 hours/week. Free parking is available onsite.

This position is hourly, paying $38-42/hr, depending on qualifications. Full benefits are offered for this position, including health, dental, vision, and 401k. For immediate consideration for this role, please apply directly with an up to date resume.

Requirements - Solid understanding of HR software and strong familiarity of MS Office

  • Adept to problem-solving and conflict resolution

  • Ability to view issues objectively

  • PHR/SPHR or other relevant certifications are desired

  • Excellent verbal, written, and social communication skills

  • Broad knowledge of HR policies, benefits administration, compensation and wage structure

  • 5+ years in human resources

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or relevant field

  • A familiarity with the main ideas of employment law and EEOC regulations

  • Impeccable ethics, integrity, and standards

  • Highly organized and self-motivated

  • 1+ years of supervisory experience within human resources

  • Organized in handling confidential business matters and information with discretion
