Ameriprise Financial Senior Manager-Investment Performance Reporting (R24_0000001055) in Minneapolis, Minnesota

This role will be responsible for the management and enhancement of AWM client and advisor facing performance measurement and reporting capabilities across the firm, and ongoing performance measurement and assessment oversight of the Managed Accounts programs on the Advisory Products platform. Key Responsibilities This role will focus on investment performance management and oversight, including but not limited to: Ownership and back-up of performance reporting production responsibilities. Training team members and staying versed on back-up responsibilities. Development and management of performance reporting deliverables, working with large data sets, and utilizing performance reporting tools. Interacting with performance reporting tool and data vendors to manage and develop investment performance reporting capabilities. Supporting cross-commit business partner requests and engagements. Leading or supporting projects to enhance performance reporting capabilities. Developing and managing performance reporting controls and related due diligence. Implementing regulatory requirements and best practices for performance measurement and reporting. Development and management of internal policies and procedures. Supporting internal and external audits. Supporting questions related to performance reporting metrics such as rate of return, yield, risk analytics (and others). Troubleshoot and correct inaccurate data in a timely manner. Development of training on topics related to investment performance and analytics. Required Qualifications 7+ years of experience in the financial services industry Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills and ability to use statistical analysis and modeling, with associated technology applications. Strong relationship and communication skills in working with colleagues, as well as influencing customers on recommendations and analysis results. Demonstrated experience in problem solving. Candidates must be able to work well under pressure or juggle multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Attention to detail, accuracy, and high level of personal accountability. Organized/detail-oriented/extremely thorough. Strong communication skills Understanding of GIPS and ability to apply the standards to performance calculations and representations. Conceptual and practical understanding of the various performance metrics (ex: different money-weighted and time-weighted return methodologies, risk analytics, benchmarking, asset allocation) Understanding of security valuation and transactional data in context to performance calculations Knowledge of investment management operations, with a focus on portfolio accounting and performance measurement Experience working with performance measurement, portfolio accounting and investment research systems (ex: First Rate, Pershing X (fka Albridge), investCloud APL, Informa, Envestnet, Morningstar, FactSet) Preferred Qualifications CIPM and/or CFA designation (or progress towards)
