Description

We are on the lookout for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in the healthcare industry. As a Staff Accountant, you will be tasked with a wide array of accounting duties which include but are not limited to, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close.

Responsibilities:

• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations efficiently.

• Oversee payroll processing and ensure accurate, timely completion.

• Perform bank reconciliations to maintain the accuracy of financial transactions.

• Prepare and record journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting.

• Conduct month-end close processes for accurate financial reporting.

• Utilize Acumatica and Microsoft Excel for financial tasks and reporting.

• Maintain accurate financial records and perform regular audits for accuracy.

• Strive for continuous growth and upward mobility within the company.

• Ensure adherence to company policies and regulations.

• Resolve any financial discrepancies or inquiries.

Requirements • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Experience in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential.

• Proficiency in conducting Bank Reconciliations.

• Demonstrable experience with General Ledger maintenance.

• Ability to prepare Journal Entries accurately.

• Experience in Month End Close procedures.

• Proficiency in using Acumatica ERP system.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.

• Experience in the Healthcare, Hospitals, or Social Assistance industry is preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Must be able to handle confidential information with discretion.

• Proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.

• A commitment to continuous professional development.

• Demonstrable commitment to ethical standards and high level of integrity.
