Citigroup Global Markets Inc. seeks a Banker for its New York, New York location.

Duties: Assist clients in raising funds in the capital markets and provide strategic advisory services for mergers, acquisitions and other types of financial transactions in coordination with the Institutional Banking team. Act as a strategic advisor to clients by formulating investment strategies and raising capital for clients. Manage the various phases of project and transaction execution, new business development and overall growth of the firm. Work closely with clients on financing transactions and guide them through the capital raising process, including leading due diligence and drafting sessions and preparing them for an equity or debt offering. Work with clients, senior-level team members and outside professional advisors on M&A and special situation transactions. Draft the situation analyses, pitch materials, information memoranda, investor and management presentations and oversee the work being performed by analysts and associates assigned to the projects. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree (3 or 4 year) or its foreign equivalent in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration or related field and 4 years of experience as an Investment Banking Analyst or related position involving M&A transactions working within the global financial services industry. 4 years of experience must include: Financial forecasting; Valuation analysis; Corporate finance and financial accounting; Financial modeling and analysis; and M&A, leveraged buyouts, merger-of-equals, shareholder advisory and defense. 10% International and domestic travel required.
