Functional Consultant position available with Tata Consultancy Services Limited in New York, New York and various unanticipated TCS office locations and client sites throughout the U.S. to manage EDI test delivery and assurance by ensuring quality and timely test delivery for all the User Stories, Bugs and Projects allocated to the EDI SQA Team. Report all the testing metrics on daily, sprint ending and monthly basis to all the major stakeholders. Responsible for resource planning and utilization reporting for the whole EDI SQA Team. Share feedback, provide training and enable improvements with the team members. Run defect triage and status calls, and share Defect Report, DSR and WSR with all the stakeholders. Enable continuous improvement and implement automated solutions and ideas. Enable process as per organizational standards to adhere to process guidelines. Review and ensure all the test deliverables are as per the quality standards and perform the RCA and implement the corrective actions to arrest slippage gaps.REQUIREMENTS: Position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering (any), Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field plus five (5) years of IT experience. Employer will accept three (3) years of university-level studies and one (1) year of IT experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree. Must have five (5) years of experience with the following: Manual Testing, Automation Testing, SQL Database Administration, Jira, Oracle Database, TFS, HP ALM, Jenkins, and Soap UI. All experience may be acquired concurrently. Must be willing to work anywhere in the U.S., as the position may involve relocation to various unanticipated TCS office locations and client sites; any relocation to be paid by the employer pursuant to internal policy. Salary: $143,021 to $200,000 per year. Position may be eligible for or require remote work within a commutable distance of worksite.
