GENERAL PURPOSE:

As a member of the Communications & Engagement team, the Manager, Communications & Engagement role requires a generalist communications professional, with significant expertise in social media, to drive internal and external Associate facing campaigns/initiatives, reinforcing Company messages and culture in support of strategic business objectives.

Based in NY, the position reports to the Senior Director, Communications & Engagement, and is responsible for Buying Office communications and day-to-day operation and management of Associate-facing corporate social media accounts. The role also supports issues management, as needed.

The Manager role collaborates closely with other team members, business partners, and - where required - external agencies. In addition, provides support to the Buying Office Events and CSR Managers, and the Dublin based team as needed.

The position requires being up to date with the latest industry trends and Associate-facing communications best practices, and have experience using social media and creative tools and technologies.

The base salary range for this role is $105,600 - $161,100. The base salary range is dependent on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, relevant education, certifications, seniority, and location. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards vary by position and location.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Buying Office Communications: Build trusted relationships with Buying Office business partners and develop communications strategies, solutions, and content to deliver information and experiences through the right channels and at the right time in support of Associate engagement and retention. Specifically:

• Proactively identify and write stories for Company-wide emails, announcements, and portal content, leveraging the internal editorial calendar to enhance communications campaigns and local messages.

• Design engaging and visually compelling graphics for digital and print materials, including but not limited to portal infographics, presentations, and social posts. Develop storylines and oversee execution of short and long-form videos.

• Develop content for small or large-scale business meetings, including but not limited to leader talking points, FAQs, speeches, presentations, and video scripts, as well as assisting with event logistics.

• Synthesize complex information into clear, concise, and compelling leader presentations.

• Social Media - Manage daily social media and community operations for internal and external Associate-facing social media accounts, showcasing Company's Values, culture, and opportunities to help drive recruitment and support retention. Specifically:

• Develop annual social media content/channel roadmap, leveraging business partner feedback and market insights to inform strategies.

• Develop and maintain a monthly editorial calendar, create and/or coordinate content and graphic design for multiple posts each week, and host standing meetings with business partners to share calendar and ensure all groups are aligned.

• Monitor Ross and competitor accounts; stay updated on industry trends. Identify issues and escalate appropriately within the Communications department, as well as with business partners. Because social media is "always on," this role may at times require supporting social media monitoring or other communications on weekends and holidays.

• Monitor social media analytics and reporting for key performance indicators. Review quarterly analytics reports to measure effectiveness, identify opportunities and track progress; leverage results to make recommendations and refine communications approach.

• Issues Management: Provide ongoing checks on content compliance, monitor internal and external social and other channels for issues, escalate and support Company to appropriately prepare for and respond to issues.

• Other: As part of a matrix team, actively engage as needed in ad hoc tasks and projects.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

• BA/BS degree

• Seasoned communications professional with 5-7 years' experience.

• Strong background in social media strategy and execution, including messaging, creative and campaigns (primarily for LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Instagram). Experienced in social networks and community management.

• Excellent written/oral communications and project/stakeholder management skills.

• Strong organizational skills with ability to juggle changing priorities and act quickly and confidently in a fast-paced environment.

• Comfortable working with senior business leaders; able to manage sensitive and confidential situations discreetly and with diplomacy.

• Creative design experience and proficiency working with Microsoft Office applications, SharePoint, social media sites and monitoring tools (e.g., Brandwatch).

• Strong interpersonal skills, able to perform in a matrixed team and step in to support other team initiatives as needed.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ADA:

This role requires regular in-office presence, including attending in-person team interaction, meetings and collaboration, client support, mentoring, coaching, and/or feedback. However, this role can perform duties effectively using a combination of in-office and remote work.#LI-Hybrid
