Project ArchitectPosition Overview

We are currently seeking a highly talented Project Architect to join our team in either San Jose, Sacramento, or Newport Beach. In this role, you will independently plan, coordinate, and develop architectural projects across various project types and site locations. Your contributions will help expand firm's presence in K-12 education, charter schools, community colleges, retail, commercial, and civic architectural commissions throughout California.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret, organize, execute, and coordinate project assignments.

• Plan and develop architectural projects.

• Coordinate all project technical efforts, ensuring efficient and cost-effective execution within the project budget.

• Prepare REVIT or CAD drawings.

• Explore subject areas, define scope, select items for investigation, and develop design concepts and methods.

• Serve as a liaison with individuals both within and outside the firm, handling technical matters related to assigned projects.

• Meet project objectives and specific deadlines with minimal supervision.

• Report to and coordinate with Project Managers on each assigned project.

• Plan, organize, and supervise the work of technical staff and consultant contacts (approximately 5 to 15 individuals) assigned to each project.

• Perform code and technical research for each assigned project.

• Coordinate the preparation of construction documents to gain all required agency approvals.

• Provide bid and construction phase support.

Job Requirements

• California Licensed Architect.

• LEED® AP preferred.

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited architecture program.
