Position Summary:

In this full-time role, you will join the InEight DevOps team to work collaboratively with Software Engineering and Product teams to deploy and operate our systems. You will help to automate and streamline our server operations and processes to maximize efficiency. You will also build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring and operations as well as troubleshoot and resolve issues in both our internal and customer environments. This position will actively support teams across the InEight Development, Test and Production environments.

The ideal candidate will be an organized and self-managed individual with outstanding communication skills. You will work proactively to identify issues and consult with team members to establish appropriate resolutions. You will work well within a high-paced environment and function well in a diverse and dynamic team environment.

Experience / Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a server operations role.

  • Degree-level tertiary qualification or equivalent practical experience.

  • Experience in managing and maintaining Windows-based server environments, IIS web servers.

  • Microsoft SQL Server experience (specifically T-SQL) especially database performance tuning and availability monitoring.

  • Experience in identifying and understanding cyber security risk in both Information Technology & Operational Technology (OT) contexts.

  • Familiar with cloud and virtualization technologies, especially Microsoft Azure to provision and manage VM environments.

  • Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery preparedness and response
