Kuehne+Nagel is seeking a dynamic professional for the role of Contract Logistics Transport Planner based in Oppeano (VR).

Your Role

The Contract Logistics Transport Planner works within the Contract Logistics Function. Contract Logistics provides innovative end-to-end warehousing and distribution solutions carried out to scale in a structured and standardized manner to optimize supply chain operations for our customers. You will be ensuring customer satisfaction in terms of feedbacks about the status of their shipments, sharing responsibility of the team. You will be following up day to day deliveries and responding to customer regarding their queries.

Your Responsibilities

PLANNING

• Routing: with the support of the TMS, determines the correct mode of transportation (direct, groupage).

• Plans delivery routes, maximizing vehicle capacity and minimizing distances.

• Coordinates with the warehouse to align order preparation with planned delivery routes and agree on loading times.

• Communicates daily pickup plans to carriers (volumes to be picked up and loading times).

EXECUTION

• Proactively monitors compliance with the plan by carriers and the warehouse, managing any deviations.

CUSTOMER SERVICE

• Manages customer inquiries regarding delivery status or anomalies (delays, damages, disputes) and determines corrective actions.

Your Skills and Experiences

• Candidates must have atleast 2-3 years of specific experience in the above-described activities,gained in medium/large national transport companies.

• Experience with advanced TMSsystems is required.
