Our Opportunity:

The Operational Services organization at Schwab is comprised of centralized teams that support Schwab business goals through the delivery of technology, operations, projects, business continuity, and offshore management. The focus is on maximizing our operating leverage by integrating functions, increasing productivity, and gaining efficiencies in order to better position Schwab to compete in the marketplace and to reinvest in areas that matter most to our clients.

What you’ll do:

As an Operational Services Document Control Support Team Professional you will perform a variety of functions for the team, internal business partners, financial advisors and clients. Our internal partners depend on us in order to process client requests in a timely and accurate manner. Flexibility is a key part of this role as our representatives are asked to switch gears throughout the day in order to support new and changing priorities in the department. This opportunity will report to Cissie Carpenter, Senior Team Manager in Orlando Florida.

Key functions in this role include:

  • Supporting offshore partners with the validation process to ensure proper workflow routing

  • Building quality by reviewing a sample of work processed offshore; through Quality Assurance guidelines

  • Monitoring validation service levels & the Support Team Doc Control email box

  • Assisting with validation during periods of high volume

  • Processing myQ/SWISS tasks within stated service level agreements

  • Overseeing special projects, piloting new functions and participating in testing when needed

  • Demonstrating proficiency with research to be able to assist the team and business partners

  • Creating and deliver training; utilizing MS Office software

  • Providing valuable input on matrix and procedure updates

  • Assisting Orlando and El Paso Document Control teams with research, validation and myQ assistance and education

  • Capacity to prioritize and work efficiently in a structured environment

  • Strong attention to detail with demonstrated ability to process work accurately in a high volume environment.

  • Ability to learn, adapt quickly and understand procedural concepts and complex processes

  • Intermediate to advanced technical skills with the ability to utilize multiple applications at any one time

  • Knowledge and skill with MS Office ( Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

  • Excellent written and verbal skills to articulate thoughts in an accurate, clear and concise manner in all forms of communication (i.e. meetings, IM, email, etc.).

  • Flexibility with regard to both schedule and role as at times associates may be asked to assist in other functions in response to work volumes and business demand

  • Ability to serve as a Subject Matter Expert, and train others in the department

  • Ability to research and resolve client service issues

  • Ability to proactively set and complete goals, taking ownership for one’s personal development and striving to deepen knowledge of Schwab products and services.

  • 2 - 3 years in the securities or financial services industry preferred

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required

  • A passion to align with the company brand by owning your career and brand

  • Desire for growth opportunities, ongoing training , and further knowledge in the Financial Services industry
