Advisor Services is the leading provider of custodial, trading, technology and practice management to registered independent advisory firms. We provide access to sophisticated wealth-management services that help advisors attract and retain affluent clients, as well as profitably grow, compete and succeed in their business efforts.

Advisor Services Alternative Investments is a new and emerging team supporting Advisor Services as an escalation team that promotes client loyalty by providing high quality subject matter expertise to our clients and internal business partners.

What you’ll do:

As a Team Manager for Advisor Services Alternative Investments, you will help create and develop a new team of 6-8 representatives who will assist internal and external clients with servicing, understanding, and finding flexible solutions for complex investments.

You will lead the team to partner with Advisor Services Sales, Service, Advisor Family Office and RIAs to understand the diverse needs of high net worth advisors and clients, serve as the central point of contact for alternative investments, and manage and address high risk issues in a timely and effective manner.

You will have a keen focus on employee engagement, while inspiring them to understand the value of relationships and empowering confidence through exceptional service; balancing productivity and a memorable service experience while managing client expectations and resolving client issues.

What you have:

  • Series 7, 63 or 66, 9 & 10 licenses required

  • 3- 5 years of people leadership experience preferably within financial services

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • Strong leadership, motivational, and coaching skills with ability to drive results and develop employees

  • Working experience of Alternative Investments (types, structures, and associated documentation)

  • Solid communication skills, both verbal and written, including the ability to condense policies and concepts into clear, concise language

  • Problem resolution skills as well as the ability to build a consensus and persuade others in a matrixed organization

  • Exercise business judgment including the ability to identify business risks and articulate those risks to business partners and all levels of management

  • The ability to embrace change and innovation

  • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills

  • Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships with business partners

  • Excellent time and resource management skills

  • Knowledge of Advisor Services business policies and procedures, products and services
