General Position Description

The System Administrator will be responsible for the setup, configuration, operation and maintenance of Conti Federal's corporate network and server systems.

This includes the management of data backup, disaster recovery, security policy implementation, and user account management, along with direct end-user technical support and performing workstation builds and swaps.

In addition, the System Administrator will be directly responsible for the rapid mobilization of project sites throughout the United States and international locations. This includes establishing Internet connectivity, the installation of structured cabling, and the provisioning of network equipment, VoIP telephones, and printers. These tasks will require both self-performed and subcontracted work. Domestic and international travel will be required as part of the above.

The System Administrator will also coordinate with the Director of Technology to rapidly resolve problems and support business operations.

  • LAN/WAN Networking

  • TCP/IP Networking, DHCP, DNS, Managed Switching (VLAN’s), OSPF Routing, BGP Routing

  • Cloud Managed Networks; Cisco Meraki preferred

  • Cloud Based DNS; Cisco Umbrella preferred

  • Database

  • MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server preferred

  • User Administration

  • Active Directory with Azure AD Connect, Azure Active Directory, NPAS,GPO, DNS

  • Manage Engine Network monitoring and management

  • Scripting

  • PowerShell and/or Bash and VBS

  • Applications

  • HCSS HeavyBid, PlanSwift, On Screen Takeoff (OST), Microsoft Office Suite, RMS, Box

  • Monitoring

  • MTRG, Sophos MDR, Splunk SIEM

    Preferred Security Experience

  • Current Interim Secret or Secret security clearance

  • Experience as an Information System Security Manager/Officer (ISSM/ISSO)

  • Experience with NISPOM, NIST, and RMF accreditation process

  • Experience with establishing and maintaining DoD Multi-User Standalone (MUSA) systems throughout their life-cycle including:

  • Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS)

  • System Security Plan (SSP)

  • Organizational Security Policies

  • Security Technical Implementation (STIG)

  • Configuration Management (CM)

  • Experience managing Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), including an assessment process that adheres to Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) guidelines.

    Qualifications

  • Citizen of the United States

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or an equivalent Information Technology discipline

  • 7+ years of relevant Information Technology experience with progressively greater responsibility

  • 7+ Years of Windows Server and Active Directory Administration

  • Significant experience with Microsoft Azure/Entra ID or AWS

  • Experience administering Office 365 tenants

  • A solid understanding of enterprise network administration

  • Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Office 365 Products

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Self-Directed, organized and motivated to accomplish goals

  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, challenging environment

  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
