Job Summary

REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience working in a warehouse or other similar environment (Preferred) Valid driver’s license (BFOQ) will be driving university vehicle. Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others. Ability to communicate respectfully and effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to do data entry into computer systems as needed. Ability to move assorted freight using appropriate tools provided. JOB DESCRIPTION: Receives materials and equipment deliveries, checks purchase orders to packing slips, checks for damages, coordinates delivery of materials to proper locations, maintains perpetual inventory records and ensures availability of stock. Responsible for inventory maintenance and delivery of printing and bulk paper supplies campus wide. Processes and sorts incoming and outgoing mail for the institution. Drives a university vehicle to make routine visits to local banks for cash deposits and petty cash. Ability to operate a forklift with proper training. Maintains data collection for costs of goods and services for ongoing projects. Maintains accountability of inventory using computer inventory systems. Posts all disbursements to the database to update records, ensuring availability of materials. Contacts vendors to reconcile invoice discrepancies or order issues and to arrange for shipments and requisitions. Maintains electronic accounting systems and entries and includes necessary back-up documentation. Perform other duties as assigned. Full time benefit eligible position.
