Geotemps is looking for 2 Geologist to assist in the acquisition of quality geological data to support the project.Duties include, but not limited to, geological and geotechnical core logging, field mapping, and sampling. This is a temporary assignment of 6 months and may extend longer.

• Drive zero harm workplace through visible felt leadership, stop work authority, and other safety programs in place.
• Upholds safety and environmental standards and compliance.
• Geological and geotechnical logging of diamond drill core.
• Support accurate and consistent sample collection and QAQC initiatives.
• Support exploration and infill drilling programs and activities.
• Support exploration mapping and sampling activities.

Technical/Specialist Skills Required:

• Excellent safety record required.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite programs required.
• Ability to work within a team environment and possess effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills required.
• Familiarity with logging diamond drill core preferred.
• Willingness to help out other team members and teams

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Geology or related field
• 0-3 years of geology experience (recent grads welcome)
• Must have a good driving record and pass background, physical, drug screenand alcohol breathalyzer test
• The shift is 4-10 hour days per week/ flexible on days
