Manager, Delegation & Assessment - 240450

DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Manager, Delegation & Assessment's responsiblities include, but are not limited to: * Leads and guides staff in accomplishing work objectives including setting clear goals and objectives, sets performance expectations, and holds associates accountable for achieving results. * Develop and document new policies and procedure and annually update existing policies and procedures.  * Responsible for developing, drafting, and amending Delegation agreements  of varying scope and complexity as well as implement related processes and procedures.  * Coordinate annual audits to measure the performance, including the request, receipt, and closure of corrective action plans * Reviews department work to ensure appropriate guidelines are followed and training is provided. Monitors workload inventory to ensure timely completion. * Manages overall Delegation Oversight Department content strategy, in collaboration with leadership, and the coordination of strategic content creation and execution to improve administrative or work efficiencies. * Reviews and analyzes Delegates related data from various sources to understand impact, and partners with internal business operations and vendors to develop strategic solutions as necessary. * Leads and oversees special projects,  within the department.   * Develops proactive and positive cross-functional working relationships with other internal divisions/departments to resolve vendor issues. * Leads the analysis of the department workstreams, with the goal of creating a positive impact and create higher efficiency.  * Perform other duties as necessary or appropriate for the position.

Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Health Administration, or related field. 5+ years relevant management experience required. * Prior experience with highly regulated environments including federal, state, and national accreditation standards preferred. * Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA)  and health plan administration required.  * Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

REQUIRED SKILLS: Hybrid

Independence has implemented a "Hybrid" model which consists of Associates working in the office 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday) and remotely 2 days a week (Monday & Friday). This role is designated as a role that fits into the "Hybrid" model. While associates may work remotely on our designated remote days, the work must be performed in the Tri-State Area of Delaware, New Jersey or Pennsylvania.
