Description

Robert Half's client in Phoenix, Arizona is seeking a Help Desk Technician.

Highlights of what our Help Desk Technician will do:

  • Exhibits excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to resolve difficult technical issues with limited information.

  • Provide help desk support and resolve problems to the end user’s satisfaction.

  • Maintains and supports enterprise resources, including laptops, desktops, tablets, mobile phones and other network enabled devices.

  • Monitor, respond and resolve incidents in our Zendesk Ticketing system while ensuring SLA performance metrics are met.

  • Strong understanding of Windows 10/11 operating system.

  • Limited experience with identifying phishing email and malware using various cybersecurity tools.

  • Solid understanding of Active Directory, Exchange and File Administration.

  • Comfortable replacing hard drives, memory and other computer components.

  • Onboarding / offboarding users.

  • Maintain inventory of all equipment, software and software licenses

  • Perform timely workstation hardware and software upgrades as required

  • Ability to work independently with limited oversight.

  • Provide support for multiple locations.

  • Remote site visits may also include overnight stay.

  • Installing, moving, equipment that may weigh up to 50 lbs.

  • Some night, weekend support and out of state travel.

    Requirements

*Skills & experience that are necessary as a Help Desk Technician will include, but not limited to:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 1-2 years of relevant help desk support experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Business, Communications or related field (preferred)

  • Bilingual Spanish (preferred)
