Our Opportunity:

The Customer Verification & Research Center (CVRC) plays a critical role for the firm in reviewing all new to firm clients in accordance with Federal laws and industry rules and regulations as part of the firms Customer Identification Program (CIP). The CVRC also executes the Hotlist and Mobile Application Review functions to protect against potential Brand and financial damage. The CVRC team works with various groups throughout the firm in these capacities.

What you’ll do:

In the current position, the Team Manager will lead a team of analysts who perform that Patriot Act Verification Review for new to firm clients. S/he will develop team members through coaching, career development mentoring, and motivational techniques. The candidate will create and implement individualized coaching plans centered on a professional’s growth and development. Through one-on-one meetings, our managers take time to focus on each professional as an individual with unique goals and aspirations.

In addition, the Sr. Team Manager will work extensively with CVRC Management and Business Partners to help execute process improvement within the department. The candidate will become an expert on the CVRC/MART procedures and vendor processes. At the candidate’s own initiative and through input from others, s/he will streamline processes and procedures with an emphasis on making it easier for clients to do business with the department. The candidate will help gain consensus on proposed changes and will effectively communicate changes with the department and business partners. Additionally, the successful candidate will partner with internal groups such as AML and FCRM, to ensure full alignment on all departmental processes.

Team Manager

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience required

  • Series 7, 9/10 & 63 required

  • Thorough knowledge of brokerage/financial services industry with minimum 5 years prior experience including Operations required and Customer Identification Program knowledge preferred

  • Positive attitude, enthusiasm, professionalism and strong work ethic with high level of integrity and ethics

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to influence, build consensus and integrate complex information

  • Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and inspire others to embrace new ideas in a rapidly changing environment

  • Proven presentation skills and experience working collaboratively, improving productivity, and implementing ideas

  • High-level expertise in multiple job processes and extensive knowledge of related regulatory requirements

  • Ability to gain consensus and finding creative and innovative solutions to issues and day-to-day challenges

  • Must be team oriented, great at problem solving, able to juggle multiple priorities and excel in a dynamic and fast moving environment

  • Excellent judgment and Risk Analysis skills

Senior Team Manager

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience required

  • Series 7, 9/10 & 63 required

  • Thorough knowledge of brokerage/financial services industry with minimum 8 years prior experience including Operations required and Customer Identification Program knowledge preferred

  • Positive attitude, enthusiasm, professionalism and strong work ethic with high level of integrity and ethics

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to influence, build consensus and integrate complex information with senior leadership

  • Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and inspire others to embrace new ideas in a rapidly changing environment with little direction

  • Proven presentation skills and experience working collaboratively, improving productivity and implementing ideas

  • High-level expertise in multiple job processes and extensive knowledge of related regulatory requirements

  • Ability to gain consensus and finding creative and innovative solutions to issues and day-to-day challenges

  • Must be team oriented, great at problem solving, able to juggle multiple priorities and excel in a dynamic and fast moving environment

  • Project Management responsibilities are preferred and included in the day-to-day activities of the Senior Team Manager

  • Excellent judgment and Risk Analysis skills
