Description

We are seeking a committed professional for the role of a Marketing Assistant based in Piedmont, South Carolina, in the non-profit industry. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity and entails coordinating and organizing blood drive events. The successful candidate will be responsible for liaising with blood drive coordinators, assisting in event booking, and working closely with the marketing team to create promotional materials.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and assist in organizing blood drive events efficiently, ensuring all details are handled meticulously

• Act as the main point of contact for blood drive coordinators at partnering businesses, ensuring clear communication and smooth collaboration

• Work closely with the marketing team to create and implement promotional materials for the blood drives

• Manage and maintain key accounts, ensuring all account-related needs are met promptly and accurately

• Utilize email marketing and direct marketing campaigns to enhance event visibility and participation

• Handle event coordination, including scheduling and event management, ensuring all events are executed seamlessly

• Maintain a flexible schedule accommodating 1st/2nd shift work, as well as weekends when necessary

• Conduct at least one follow-up interview with candidates via Zoom or similar platforms

• Utilize skills in account management and account maintenance to ensure customer satisfaction and retention

• Assist in other administrative and organizational duties as required.

• Experience in Direct Marketing Campaigns

• Demonstrated ability in Account Management

• Proficient in Account Maintenance

• Proven experience in Key Account Management

• Strong skills in Scheduling

• Experience in Coordinating Events

• Proven ability in Event Coordination

• Demonstrable experience in Event Handling

• Understanding of the Non-Profit industry

• Experience in a Marketing Assistant role or similar

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

• Proficient in the use of marketing software and tools

• Ability to work well in a team and independently

• Proactive and problem-solving mindset

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or related field is preferred.
